Versatility is the name of the game here, with comedy, sport, food and live music recommendations all being shown in the little day by day boxes below! So if you're stuck for things to do this week, worry no more!
Monday - Visit The Lightbox and Palette Bistro, Woking |
At any one time, The Lightbox in Woking hosts a huge array of brilliant artwork. Currently showing off the works of Jenny Holzer and Dame Elisabeth Frink, there's also a lighthearted display of Hoovers (yes, you read right) to show you the evolution of this crucial domestic tool from 1923 to 2000! Who says art is pretentious? If you fancy a spot of lunch while you're there, we can heartily recommend stopping off at Palette Bistro, which boasts delicious food and a huge selection of wines! Oh and you can save money at this lovely restaurant with your Good Time Guide Offer Card!

Tuesday - Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking |
Got a day/afternoon day off and fancy a bit of you time? Maybe want to appreciate the last of the snow before it disappears for good? Well now that the roads are finally accessible, a trip to Denbies Wine Estate should be a priority. The largest vineyard in England, you can see the wine-making process in unprecedented detail and, of course, should have a sample or two before the day's out! All this, as well as a delicious restaurant, gift shop and the backdrop of beautifully picturesque countryside? We say do it. It'll be good, and you know it. Click here for more info!

Wednesday - Hoebridge Golf Centre, Woking |
With the weather meaning you can finally see a bit of colour underneath all of that show, this week should see the return of some potential golfing action! Hoebridge Golf Centre in Woking prides itself on its relaxed atmosphere, wonderful courses and versatility. The centre also boasts a well kitted gym, and 3 courses to suit the ability of the golfer. A great way to get some of that crisp winter air into your lungs! Make sure you consult here to find out more and make sure that the snow has thawed a bit; we don't want you to be left disappointed when you arrive!

Sunday - Jam Night @ Native Tongue, Epsom |
A truly fantastic independent venue, Native Tongue in Epsom is the kind of place that there should be more of. Music and comedy are the watchwords here, and it hosts a weekly Guitar Hero night for goodness sake! (It's on Wednesdays, by the way). But we're specifically highlighting that Sunday night is jam night. For all of you frustrated musicians who wants to just thrash it out with like-minded people, this is the place to go. Hosted by Chris Clarke, all the kit is there for you to play on, and all musical styles are welcome! Head down there, familiarise yourself, make friends and have a drink!
