Greetings from The Good Time Guide

Thursday - Loving the Lido |
We really are feeling summery this week. Yesterday was practically tropical (19 degrees is good enough for us!) and the sun is back today. Naturally our minds have turned to summertime pursuits. So today we give you Guildford Lido! Built in the 1930's, now fully restored and set in 3 acres of landscaped Gardens, with a 50m pool, we love the Lido!

Saturday - Anyone for Pub Jenga? |
There are endless reasons to love The Drummond in Guildford. Just down from Guildford Cricket Ground, within easy walking distance of the town, The Drummond has a relaxed feel, with huge leather sofas, great food, a sunny terraced garden and a vast selection of board games - our personal favourite is Jenga! So if you have yet to discover The Drummond, we suggest that this is the weekend that you do! Whether for an afternoon of Pims & Jenga or beer & connect four, or just for an evening of great food and drink, there is more than enough to keep you happy.

Sunday - Picnic in the Park |
|
With summer practically upon us (we promise!), now is the time to rediscover the great outdoors and picnic in the park! Farnham Park is a 320 acre medieval deer park overlooking the town with an impressive 1km tree lined avenue. Sounds delightful! And the perfect spot for your picnic. So pack your basket, grab a picnic rug and head to the park for a day of all out laziness.
