Here's what Epsom Playhouse have to say: "Following its highly successful run at London's Leicester Square, the award-winning Defending the Caveman is back by popular demand! The longest running solo play in Broadway history, Defending the Caveman has become a worldwide hit. Why do men and women misunderstand each other? The truth of course, can be traced back to the Caveman!"

Tuesday - Oscar Wilde's 'Salome' at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre |
A staggering verse tragedy from one of the all-time writers, performed at Guildford's wonderful Yvonne Arnaud Theatre by the hugely acclaimed Headlong Theatre Company.
Rarely performed, the play tells the Biblical story of Salome, stepdaughter of King Herod, who, to her stepfather's dismay but to the delight of her mother Herodias, requests the head of John the Baptist on a silver platter as a reward for doing the Dance of the Seven Veils.

Wednesday - Barcelona, Woking - Wednesday Night Salsa & Tapas! |
What with the influx of dance-based televisual entertainy-type shows, nights like this are becoming ever more popular - great fun, great exercise, and then some wonderful food and wine from Barcelona, the finest Spanish restaurant in the area.

That's right people, Roll Deep founder member, grime pioneer and number one artist Wiley is playing at Dusk, Guildford's premier night club, on Thursday 20th May! This event will be a sell-out, so we say get on it quickly!

Friday - Comedy Night at The Hilton, Cobham! |
You may think a venue such as Cobham's Hilton Hotel may not host such frivolities, but you'd be very wrong indeed! This Saturday 21st sees such an event occur, and you are guaranteed to have a good time, which is what this little website does ya know?
Anyway, the line-up is a humdinger, with headliner Martin Beaumont showing a wealth of comedy experience. Tip of The Week
Guildford's Tickled Ivory - So Much to Shout about...
What's not to like about Tickled Ivory? It's a Piano Bar for Goodness sake! But, in case you're not convinced, here's a couple of reasons to go...
1. 527 Club - Named so for it is a club that occurs between the hours of 5 and 7pm. Become a member of Tickled Ivory (free of charge), and between these hours on a Monday to Friday its just £8 for a 12inch stone-baked pizza and a drink (select wine or lager). Also selected drinks are 2 for 1 in this extended happy hour!
2. Pizza and Piano - As above, but on a Wednesday the offer runs right through til 10pm as there'll be a live pianist and singer. Booking a table is recommended.
3. The Sunday Sessions - Live music from 9pm and free entry on a Sunday.
