WE LOVE THE SUMMER!

Yes, that's right! And, what's more, we have yet more summer time fun for the readership of The Good Time Guide Weekly News! As promised at the beginning of the month, we have a packed line-up of entertainment coming your way throughout the month of August. And here we are with the third instalment. From a Night at The Star Inn, Woking, on Monday to the Haslemere Greats Film Festival on Tuesday; from the Salsa Night Launch at Barcelona, Woking, on Wednesday to WaxWorks at Bacchus Bar on Thursday; from The Great Look Up on Friday to an evening at Son of Sombrero on Saturday - all topped off with a trip to Mercedez Benz World on Sunday, we have set out seven days of fun and entertainment for all. And just to make it even better, it is a Bank Holiday Weekend. Did we mention that we LOVE THE SUMMER?!

Monday - A Night at The Star Inn

Another week..... And another great new listing on The Good Time Guide for us to rave about! Welcome to The Star Inn; a stylish yet comfortable village pub in the heart of Surrey's Green Belt. Their recently refurbished interior provides you with several unique environments to relax in, be it to eat, drink or simply unwind. Tuesday - Haslemere Greats Film Festival

Wednesday - Salsa Night Launch at Barcelona

Visit Barcelona in Woking on Wednesday 26th August for the launch of their Salsa Night! With Drum & Bass / Breaks / 4x4 and Hip Hop, plus DJ’s on rotation: Undefined, DJ Millz, Sparks & Intex and regular special guests....... Running from 20.00 – 03.00, entry is £2.00 before 23.00 and £4.00 thereafter. Last entry at 01.30.

Friday - The Great Look Up

Taking place at The Varsity Centre at The University of Surrey, The Great Look Up is a prelude to the British Science Festival – for people of all ages to bring telescopes, binoculars, families and friends to wonder at the late summer sky! From the deepest depths of the oceans, to the stars up above, the British Science Festival offers something for everyone.

Saturday - Son of Sombrero

Yet to discover the greatness that is Son of Sombrero in Guildford?! Well, this Bank Holiday Weekend, we suggest that you do! Through a secluded door, on Chertsey Street, and up a flight of stairs lies a little taste of Mexico. Son of Sombrero is a joyous festivity of food and flavour that will transport you to the heartland of Nachos and Tequila! With a large menu full of the usual tasty treats, cocktails galore and Sangria flowing freely, there are some seriously happy times to be had!

Sunday - Summer of Fun at Mercedes-Benz World
