We hope that this week's edition of The Good Time Guide Weekly News finds you all relaxed and refreshed after a Bank Holiday Weekend of uncharacteristically great weather (three days of sunshine? Monday - Guildford Summer Festival

Forward planning is the order of the day. Following a most lovely Bank Holiday Weekend full of sunshine, we now need other summertime activities to plan for. And fortunately we have just the thing! The 2009 Guildford Summer Festival, running from 19 June to 1 August, promises to be the biggest yet with over 100 events covering a huge variety of activities including sports, drama, music, art, tours, workshops and shopping, as well as a wide array of fun events for the whole family. A host of famous names can be found in the pages of this year's brochure, including Shakespeare, Will Young, Michelle Collins, William Hogarth, Gwilym Simcock, Kristin Scott Thomas and Brian Wilson. Tuesday - Promotions at The Slug & Lettuce

A visit to The Slug & Lettuce Epsom is a must this month, with special offers available throughout the week. Starting with Happy Mondays, you can enjoy 50% off all food, all day, every Monday! Wednesday - Revolutionary Road

Wednesday. Midway through the week. Time to relax! Head to The Farnham Maltings to see one of the most talked about films of the year – Revolutionary Road. A young couple living in a Connecticut suburb during the mid-1950s struggle to come to terms with their personal problems while trying to raise their two children. To reinvent their lives the couple deicide to move to Paris but when the husband is offered a promotion the move is put on hold. Based on a novel by Richard Yates. Thursday - Thursday Nights at Fahrenheit 55

Well established as one of Guildford's best late night venues, Fahrenheit 55 offers something different every night of the week. Serving fresh tapas, with great early evening deals available Monday to Friday from 18.00 – 20.00 (3 for 2 on all cocktails, buy 2 large glasses of any wine and get the rest of the bottle free!) this sounds like the perfect early start to the weekend. Friday - Take Yourself Out

Saturday - Live Jazz & Tapas Night

Sunday - Sunday Swing Dance & The Comedy Store
