Overview
Something of a ramblers dream, The Cyder House Inn is located in the heart of Shackleford, which boasts the Surrey Hills as its natural backdrop. The venue itself matches its surroundings, its contemporary feel balanced with a gorgeous interior and exterior, including a large outdoor seating area. Inside there is a restaurant space, a bar with an open fire on cold days, and a "snug" area with comfortable sofas.
The Cyder House also offers an array of food and drink to cater for all occasions - lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, as well as a wide range of real ales and lagers, ciders, wines, spirits, soft drinks, and of course hot drinks. The wine list is particularly exhaustive, while their food philosophy is "good seasonal food cooked simply" – expect delicious, high-end pub food with locally sourced produce. The traditional roast every Sunday, with at least two meats to choose from and served with all the trimmings, is a particular favourite.
The Cyder House is a fantastic venue to visit, perfectly matching the balance of traditional (fireplace, real ale) and modern (free wi-fi, spacious parking). Take yourself, and your canine companion, off to The Cyder House!
