What's Going On in Fleet?
Fleet & District Carnival 2012
A four day extra-extravaganza (if such a term exists - it doesn't), this years carnival ties in with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, so expect one heck of a partay. Taking place between 1st - 5th June 2012, you really should not miss out on one of the biggest carnivals in the South - especially with the Best of British theme...
While this will of course be a whole heap of fun - the Fleet & District Carnival has been around since 1956, so they know what they're doing - we should mention that the Carnival aims to make a lot of money for charity.

West Green House, Hook
Give us a bit of leeway here - we know Hook isn't in Fleet, but darn it, it's close enough to mention the beautiful West Green House. A truly wonderful beauty spot, Marylyn Abbott purchased the 99 year lease of West Green House from the National Trust in 1993 - as private gardens.
So admire the job Marylyn has done, with some truly magnificent gardens on display, and is open between April and September. To see what we mean, click here!
Fleet Information
Don't let the lack of a main road in fool you; Fleet is a location with much on offer. Boasting a notable beauty spot in the Fleet Pond Nature Reserve, the largest freshwater lake in Hampshire, this picturesque little town deserves your attention.
Come in the Summer for the Fleet carnival or in the depths of Winter for the Christmas Light switch-on. There are also a number of lovely bars and restaurants, and even lay claim to a nightclub in Jaxx!
So make the effort to go down the B roads of North-East Hampshire and pay Fleet a much-deserved visit!
