Overview

One of the most aesthetically pleasing pubs in Surrey, The Duke of Wellington is also steeped in history. The original Inn was called The Greyhound and became The Crown after the restoration of the Monarchy back in 1660. Now, it's stylish and modern too - a long traditional styled bar, a duke box, pool table, darts area and a large separate seating area for drinks and dining. They show sport on big screens and have a seating area big enough for 100 people, too.

Another notable aspect of The Duke of Wellington is the menu. Created by head chef, Clair Leckie, it's emphasis is on fantastic pub classics at reasonable prices, which they've achieved with aplomb. With food now served in the new dining area, there's a carvery every Sunday between 12pm and 4pm, and 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine costs £15 on Sunday evenings. Moreover, there's also an ever-rotating specials board, packed with an array of excellent dishes. Nine unique en-suite rooms mean you can stay over should you need (or just over-indulge), and you can even purchase some cream teas and cakes throughout the day!

Brimming with facilities, gorgeous to look at and a fantastic array of food and drink - we struggle to think of more that The Duke of Wellington could possibly offer!
