Five and Lime, Pub/Bar in Guildford

Overview

The Five and Lime has been a vibrant bustling pub at the heart of Guildford for over 11 years. The interior is an eclectic mix of modern design with a rustic charm. The bar counter is made from reclaimed walnut science lab desks salvaged from a school in Nottingham with refurbished Victorian floorboards cladding the walls. It has an excellent rear courtyard with a Balearic air of sophistication. Large white booths are surrounded by large mature Bamboo and the Pink LED wall washers give it a warm calming glow at night. The Garden plays host to acoustic live music during the week or more of a driven party atmosphere with the resident DJ's at the weekend.

The Five and Lime is just as serious about its food and drink as it is about the music. The cocktail list has been designed with the help of Andy Jones a master cocktail mixologist from Manhattan who has worked in some of NY's best Bars. A little closer to home, Head Chef Mark Holland has worked tirelessly sourcing great local produce from excellent butchers such as Ray Rowley, and their fruit and vegetables are picked from the local market.

An independent operation, the one thing you will always get from everyone at Five and Lime, right from the newest member of bar staff right up to the managing partners, is passion.
