Surrey Hills Food & Drink Festival
You know, as skilled a word-smith as this writer is, sometimes it's just better to copy and paste info about the event. Like this:
"A festival of Surrey Hills wine, beer and food to celebrate the first of the 2012 Olympic Games events will take place at Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking, on July 28. The Surrey Hills Festival will showcase the best of Surrey’s local food and drink, art and entertainment. Entry for this community event will be free. This would also be an ideal opportunity to visit Dorking and soak up the atmosphere, attractions and heritage of this famous market town when the eyes of the world will be on Surrey.
There will be music and entertainment and lots of stalls selling local produce to eat or take home. The festival kicks off at 11am and the Denbies train will be on hand to ferry visitors back and forth. Roads will be closed to cars but the vineyard is within easy walking distance of Box Hill, West Humble and Dorking railway stations and it is also accessible by cycle track."

Leatherhead and Dorking Information
Strolling through the town of Leatherhead is pleasure enough for us with its wealth of historic buildings and the River Mole with its stunning fourteen arch bridge. But beautiful buildings and landscapes is not all that Leatherhead and the surrounding areas of Bookham, Horsley, Fetcham and Dorking have to offer.
They are positively pulsating with culture thanks to the numerous galleries, exhibitions, theatres and concerts; not to mention the vast array of leisure activities and other attractions you can get involved with. To entertain the youngsters why not take the family to Bocketts Farm Park and feed the goats or indeed whichever farmyard animal takes your fancy. The older generation might want to wet their whistles at Dorking’s very own vineyard. Whatever tickles your fancy we are convinced that Leatherhead has something for everyone.
