Overview
The Blue Bell in Dockenfield, near Farnham, has finally returned, under new ownership with a fresh impetus on the finer things in life – eating, drinking and being merry. Naturally, these are all in keeping with The Good Time Guide’s ethos, so it’s with great pleasure we add this fantastic venue to our site.
Let’s start off with the food, with The Blue Bell boasting home cooking with no pretension, no bells and no whistles. Customers can enjoy a simple sandwich from the toasted Panini counter, a ploughman’s lunch, or tuck into a full three course meal off the ever-changing blackboard. If you’re in the mood for something light, the Bloomingdeli can supply you with a hot drink and sandwich, or slice of cake. If you just want a drink, there’s a large array of beers, real ales and fine wines too.
The Blue Bell also caters for parties large and small, and hosts live music on the last Friday of each month too. With a snug area, large bar, lounge and soon-to-be-added terrace, there’s always a reason to visit Dockenfield’s finest!
