Overview

This pretty village pub is set in a beautiful countryside location. In the heart of some of the most stunning National Trust territory, it is a popular retreat for walkers, ramblers and for people who just like being outdoors. Inside, the real fires and low beams create a cosy and intimate atmosphere. A winter warmer menu will be available through the winter months for £8 and will change daily - just look for the blackboard.

The Jolly Farmer is known locally for its great food, with the emphasis very much placed upon good quality with the meat locally sourced from Fulks Butchers in Pirbright. Sunday roasts (served 12 – 8pm) are particularly popular as well as their forever-changing menu (featuring wild game and British beef). In the afternoon whilst the chef is taking a nap, you will find sausages and pork pies at the bar. As well as home roasted nuts & marinated olives. Classic breakfast treats are also served from 10am.

Regular events such as Beaujolais Night and Gourmet Evenings are held in the evenings so make sure you stay abreast of the action by paying The Jolly Farmer a visit.
