The Stoke is a friendly local pub, which prides itself on being a little bit quirky. With its friendly welcoming atmosphere The Stoke offers an excellent selection of fine ales, lager and wine as well as a large selection of spirits, cocktails and fruit smoothies.

The pub is large and spacious with large leather sofa’s to recline on, should you fancy a relaxing afternoon. However, they also offer you the chance to make table and lounge area bookings, perfect if you are looking to have a small gathering or to reserve an excellent spot to watch the big game shown on any of the big screens.

What makes the Stoke a bit more distinctive than your average pub/bar is the wood stove oven that is on all day serving you food from opening time until 10pm. They have a wide selection of food available on the menu, but are probably better know for serving some of the best pizzas in town - and they, unlike the rest of the menu, are available until 11pm. In addition they also offer the complete menu to take away.

Regular events such as quiz night (Thursday), pizza deals (Monday) and their new Sunday Art Project - in aid of Great Ormand Street Hospital - ensure that there will always be something to suit everyone at the Stoke.
